The Sockers2 return to Ms2 action for the 2024/25 season after taking a one-year hiatus. San Diego won their second M2 Cup Championship in 2022 by defeating the Cleveland Crunch in the M2 Final. The Sockers Developmental Team has been very successful in its first three seasons, winning the 2022 and 2019 Championships, and being 2018 M2 Cup Finalists. The team did not compete in the 2020, 2021 and 2023 M2 seasons.
