Sockers Sweep MASL POTW Honors

Players of the Week The San Diego Sockers swept the MASLPlayer Of The Week honors for week 15. Goalkeeper Xavier Snaer-Willams, defender Cesar Cerda, and forward Tavoy Morgan were selected for their efforts in the two games against St. Louis and Kansas City.

Snaer-Williams earned the win in a relief role, replacing the injured Boris Pardo in Kansas City. He saved a penalty kick at a crucial time and finished with 13 saves in 40 minutes of play.

Cerda blocked four of the team's 13 in the game against Kansas City and added two assists in both games.

Morgan had a combined four goals and one assist in the two games.

San Diego has won back-to-back Golakeeper Of The Week awards, with Boris Pardo earning the honor for Week 14.
